JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The Broadcast Technical Director is an essential part of our dynamic media team. This pivotal role involves managing and displaying content for our broadcast services, ensuring seamless video production, and supporting the church's mission to spread hope and faith globally.

This position reports directly to the Service Director.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Responsible for displaying the proper content that shows on the I-Mag screens and streaming shows during all broadcast services
• Ensure that all content is loaded, tested and ready before each service
• Responsible for all sub-switching of video walls, studio monitors, applications and equipment used to manipulate video and graphics on these devices
• Serve as the backup Video Director during church services as the need arises and other Lakewood Church video productions
• Be part of the production crew for weekly LWC services and other events as assigned
• Follow and maintain the quality standards as defined for the production process of Joel Osteen Ministries
• Other related duties as assigned

This will also include:

• Regular attendance at Church services and classes,
• Serving as a Prayer Partner or as a volunteer in any ministry of the Church, and
• Serving our community through local outreaches from time to time when needed by the Church

QUALIFICATIONS

• Uncompromised commitment to Lakewood Church’s vision, values and core beliefs
• Call Lakewood your church home, regularly attending services and events
• Professional appearance and conduct
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated Christ like Character
• Knowledge of ProPresenter, Adobe Premiere and the latest Mac OS
• Working knowledge of video production switchers with mix/digital video effects
• Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects
• Ability to multi-task and demonstrate effective time management skills
• Ability to work efficiently and be self-motivated

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Some college experience in media or related field is preferred
• At least 4 years experience as Technical Director
• At least 4 years TV Production experience
