Perfect Game is looking for a Media Intern to join our team this summer!

If you are creative, knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and excited about youth baseball and softball, we hope you’ll apply. This is a great opportunity to work with the team of professionals who are responsible for providing media coverage of Perfect Game’s events as well as creating content to air on PerfectGame.TV.

The position is hybrid and candidates must based in the Atlanta area, as regular travel to and from our East Cobb events is required. You’ll be working 40+ hours per week which will definitely include nights and weekends.

Responsibilities include:

• Production Support and Post-Production Support
• Distributing and updating production documents, schedules and other paperwork
• Researching locations, teams and towns for operations tactical planning
• Grip work
• Video logging and labeling
• Video Editing, if the candidate presents those skills
• Project management
• Equipment organization
• Providing Media/PR updates and team notes, line-ups etc.
• Observing in the Media truck and out in the field with roving reporter

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a college or university and pursuing a degree in Media Production or related field
• Experience with video production and post-production editing
• Understanding of (and love for!) baseball and softball
• Team player who can also work independently
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to follow written and verbal direction
• Comfortable using Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Valid driver’s license
