The Opportunity:
We’re seeking an exceptional MBA intern to work directly with the Chief Financial Officer and SVP of Operations on high-impact projects that shape the trajectory of our company. This is not a “watch and learn” internship—this is a roll-up-your-sleeves, make-it-better, leave-your-mark experience.
As an MBA Intern, you’ll lead and support projects such as:
· Pricing & Revenue Strategy: Build and refine financial models to optimize pricing, improve win rates, and drive profitable growth.
· Board & Management Reporting: Help evolve our executive reporting package, integrating live data from our new NetSuite and ERP software.
· Technology Implementation: Support the operational rollout of a new enterprise management system—one of the most significant tech upgrades in company history.
· Market & Competitor Analysis: Analyze emerging trends, industry shifts, and competitive strategies to inform strategic decision-making.
· M&A Target Research: Identify and research potential acquisition candidates in the ITAD, logistics, and cybersecurity ecosystems.
Who We’re Looking For:
We value rigor, ownership, and initiative. The ideal candidate is:
· A current MBA student with a background in finance, strategy, operations, or analytics.
· Advanced proficiency in Excel modeling and data storytelling.
· Familiar with ERP/financial systems (NetSuite a plus).
· Skilled in competitive research and industry analysis.
· Interested in private equity-backed companies and growth-stage operations.
· A clear communicator who is highly organized, ethical, and eager to learn by doing.
Why Guardian?
· You’ll work directly with executive leadership.
· You’ll see the inside of a private equity-backed transformation.
· You’ll own projects with real bottom-line impact.
· You’ll gain visibility into every part of the business—from truck logistics to boardroom strategy.
