Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Pasadena, Tx

Pay: $20-$30/HR

Shift: 1st

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing regular maintenance and repairs on machinery, equipment, and building systems. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, experience with preventive maintenance, and a keen attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment and machinery.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
• Repair or replace defective parts, ensuring equipment is in optimal working condition.
• Monitor and maintain various systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures while performing maintenance tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and malfunctions, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to meet company goals and deadlines.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and machinery.
• Keep maintenance area clean and organized.

Qualifications/Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical certifications preferred).
• Proven experience as a maintenance mechanic or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and Hydraulics systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Commercial Maintenance Mechanic experience
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Must be able to work in a physically demanding environment and lift heavy objects when necessary.
