Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of hands-on experience in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair in a fast-paced production environment. This role ensures that all machinery and mechanical systems operate efficiently with minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues on manufacturing machinery, conveyors, hydraulic systems, gearboxes, pumps, and motors.
• Install, adjust, and align production machinery and mechanical components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and equipment manuals.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, parts used, and repairs completed.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all work activities.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and support production needs to minimize downtime.
• Recommend and assist in the implementation of equipment upgrades or improvements.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills.
• Basic electrical knowledge is a plus (e.g., sensors, motor controls).
• Ability to use hand and power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic instruments.
• Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) preferred.
• Technical or trade school certification a plus.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand/walk for long periods, and work in various environments (hot, cold, noisy).
