Job Description

Our client, a fast-growing personal care and nutraceutical manufacturer, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support production operations. This role is key to ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and maintaining GMP compliance.

Location: San Bernardino County, CA

Shift: Mon–Fri, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift available.

1st: 4:00 AM start, 2nd: 12PM-2PM or 3rd: 8PM-10PM; ~10-hour shifts with OT and weekend availability

Pay: $35/hr (Possible flexibility for direct personal care experience)

Type: 6-month Contract-to-Hire

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and troubleshoot production equipment.
• Support production teams by reducing downtime and meeting daily productivity goals.
• Participate in equipment upgrades, installations, and tooling for new products.
• Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance (cGMP, safety audits, root cause investigations).
• Assist with documentation, training materials, and continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma required; technical training or certifications a plus.
• Experience in production maintenance strongly preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 55 lbs and working on your feet.
