Our client is a large electric lighting equipment manufacturer . They are looking for a Logistics Specialist to join their team. This role is a CONTRACT TO HIRE position. Position will be ONSITE . Candidates must be residing within commutable distance of San Jose, CA to be considered.

Position Duties:

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely preparation of all required documents such as BOL, shipping label, and packing slip.
• Prepare and maintain daily reports, records, and documentation including daily shipping reports, monthly accrual reports, and daily shipping documentations to reflect department activities.
• Work closely and cross-functionally with supply planning team, warehouse, Finance, Sales, and Sales operations to fulfill requested items.
• Assist in developing Logistics plans, procedures, and 3rd PL warehouse’s daily operations and rating improvement efforts.
• Meet productivity standards, completing all work in a timely manner.

Requirements:

• Customer service skills
• Comfortable with data entry
• Interest in Logistics/Export Compliance, Supply Chain Operation.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail, including accuracy and thoroughness.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer skills.
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task and work independently on complex assignments.
• Flexible and responsive; able to perform in a fast paced, dynamic work environment and meet aggressive deadline
• Excellent analytics skills with ability to multitask
