Licensed Insurance Customer Service

Location: OTTAWA, IL, 61350
Salary: $30000.0 - $35000.0/year

Dyche - State Farm Agency, located in Ottawa , IL, is currently looking for a talented, caring, professional to join our team as a Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative. As our Customer Service Representative, you'll work to inspire customer loyalty and significantly enhance the overall State Farm Insurance customer experience.

This is an in-office position working 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday. Please only apply if you can make the commute to our agency located at: 1104 Columbus Street, Ottawa, IL 61350.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  1. Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
  2. Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
  3. Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.
  4. Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.
  5. Provide excellent customer service and focus on client retention.

Requirements:
  • Illinois Property Casualty license
  • Illinois Life and Health license (must have or be able to obtain)
  • Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred
  • Competency and work ethic to sell and service all lines of insurance
  • Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
  • Self-motivated
  • Detail oriented
  • Proactive in problem solving
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to assess customer needs and conduct effective interviews
  • Ability to effectively relate to a customer
