Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Lab Technician to join our pharmaceutical manufacturing team. This position involves performing routine testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products in accordance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), cGMP regulations, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). The ideal candidate will be a recent graduate or someone with limited industry experience who is eager to learn and grow in a regulated lab environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine physical, chemical, and microbiological tests on raw materials, intermediates, and finished pharmaceutical products.
• Prepare and standardize reagents, solutions, and lab equipment as needed for testing.
• Accurately document all lab activities and results in lab notebooks, logbooks, and computerized systems.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments in accordance with SOPs and calibration schedules.
• Follow current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and other regulatory requirements.
• Assist with sample management including labeling, storage, retention, and disposal.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related scientific discipline.
• Internship or co-op experience in a lab or pharmaceutical manufacturing setting.
• Familiarity with cGMP, GLP, and FDA regulatory requirements.
• Experience using lab instruments such as pH meters, balances, UV-Vis spectrophotometers, or HPLC (training will be provided if needed).
• Laboratory setting with potential exposure to chemicals and biological agents.
