Job Description

Our client is seeking a Junior Product Manager in Windsor, CT. This is a full-time opportunity and the teams follows a hybrid schedule (it will start fully onsite, transition to hybrid).

The Junior Product Manager assists in the development, launch, and continuous improvement of hardware products. This role works closely with product development, engineering, marketing, and sales teams ensuring delivery of high-quality products to meet customer needs and exceed industry standards.

Key Areas of Responsibility: Assist in managing the entire hardware product lifecycle from inception through development, launch, and post-launch support.

  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitor products to inform product roadmaps.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and customers to define and document product requirements.
  • Work with engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to ensure timely development, testing, and delivery of products.
  • Facilitate the development of prototypes, assist in product testing, and ensure hardware specifications align with product designs.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of product launches.
  • Monitor customer feedback and gather insights to inform ongoing product improvements, bug fixes, and feature updates.
  • Collect and analyze data on product performance, user adoption, and customer.
  • Maintain accurate product documentation, including product specifications, user manuals, and release notes.

  • Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Product Management, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 1-4 years of experience in product management or a related field (experience with hardware or terminal products is a plus).
  • Ability to understand technical requirements and translate them into user-friendly product features.
  • Understanding of hardware product lifecycle management, from design to production.
  • Ability to translate complete and in-depth technical requirements into user-friendly product features and vice versa.
  • Familiarity with Agile product management methodologies.
