Salary: $95,680 - 95,680 per year Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business, or related field
• At minimum, ten years of IT experience including expertise in Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6), Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP), Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), Virtual Local Area Networks (VLANs), Virtual Private Networks (VPNs), and Network Address Translation (NAT)
• Must possess a Security+ and a Microsoft Associates Level Certification
• US Citizen with an active DOD Secret clearance

• Perform advanced systems installation, operation, integration, and troubleshooting to maintain optimum Information Technology (IT) system operations
• Design and oversee upgrades and new installs of IT systems and services, ensuring coordination with Cyber Security Specialist
• Perform Tier III troubleshooting, optimization, and performance management of Internet Protocol (IP), Domain Name System (DNS), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), and routing protocols
• Integrate enterprise, regional, and local IT systems ensuring current network operations are sustained or oversee their recovery

NGEN-R is the largest IT services program for the Navy, supporting the Navy-Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) and Marine Corps Enterprise Network (MCEN) including cybersecurity services, network operations, service desk, and data transport. The Defense Group of Leidos is seeking an IT Specialist Senior to oversee network systems, architecture, and topology and execute projects on the NGEN-R SMIT contract. This role, located in Camp Pendleton, CA, involves not only overseeing network operations specialists but also performing asset scanning and logging of assets delivered in accordance with established Government directives.
