Modern Hydrogen is seeking an IT Administrator to join our General and Administration team based in Woodinville. Position Summary:

As the IT Administrator, you will manage all aspects of our IT ecosystem, ensuring seamless operations & support balanced with security & compliance.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage all IT functions at Modern Hydrogen, including hardware, software, and services
  • Help develop and execute strategic plans for the IT department aligned with Modern Hydrogen’s IT and business goals
  • Provide high-quality and timely technical support, resolving issues through effective troubleshooting with an emphasis on providing excellent customer service
  • Ensure the security of our systems complies with internal, customer, and regulatory requirements (ISO 27001) and industry best practices
  • Implement and optimize IT processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Administer company SaaS and cloud resources, especially Microsoft 365, NetSuite and other applications used company-wide
  • Administer other IT tasks including engineering software support, hardware, networking, and conference room maintenance, and laptop and server administration
  • Manage vendors and contractors to ensure all IT projects and tasks are fulfilled in a timely manner
  • Other duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibilities: None.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or similar field
  • 5+ years of experience in information technology administration and security
  • Experience in Windows system administration for businesses
  • Knowledge of IT tasks including secure networking, Linux system administration, hardware and software management
  • Ability to identify, select, and manage vendors for IT tasks
  • Interest in overseeing our entire IT ecosystem, including rapidly learning new technologies the company requires, and identifying solutions to new business challenges
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced R&D environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint), as well as chat and teleconferencing applications (e.g. Teams, Slack)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or similar
  • Experience with implementing and maintaining ISO 27001 requirements
  • Experience implementing intellectual property security measures on internal information systems
  • Experience with industrial control systems, database administration, or engineering data storage platforms
  • Microsoft, CompTIA, CISSP, Cisco or other relevant industry certifications
  • Experience with NetSuite or other ERP systems
  • Programming experience (such as JavaScript or Python)

Working Conditions:

You will be expected to work in our Woodinville, WA facility at least 4 days per week with the option of 1 remote day per week depending on job needs.
