Role Description

Insight Media is seeking a proactive, highly-motivated, and detail-oriented Talent Manager to lead off a roster of high quality lifestyle, fashion, and beauty influencers. This individual must have a deep understanding of content creation and influencer marketing, a comprehensive understanding of top trending brands in the fashion and beauty space, strong communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to manage multiple clients at once. As a Talent Manager you must be able to think outside of the box to come up with innovative pitches and solve problems creatively and efficiently.

In this role, you will be responsible for researching, identifying, and signing influencers within the Fashion & Beauty space. You will also manage all influencer campaigns with your exclusive roster from start to finish, including but not limited to securing campaigns, ensuring content is created and deliverables are met, and ensuring timely payment to influencers. You will assist in day-to-day strategy in guiding and growing the influencers and maximizing their monetization potential.

We are looking for candidates who have experience in contract negotiations, outbound pitching, PR, project management, influencer deal execution, and a deep understanding of the creator economy.

Salary

This will be a salary + commission based role full time, W2 role. Salary will be determined based on prior experience.

Talent Manager Responsibilities:

  • Project manage influencer campaigns from start to finish, including negotiating rates, developing and/or reviewing and signing contracts, tracking product orders, managing post dates, communicating campaign briefs, and gathering analytics
  • Scout and identify new Talent, negotiate contracts, and manage Talent within the fashion and beauty niche
  • Negotiate and set appropriate budgets, confirm campaign requirements and logistics, and manage contracts, scheduling, and comprehensive communications
  • Ensure Talent has correct information in order to create and post content deliverables in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with Talent to develop content strategies that align with their personal brand, audience demographics, and industry trends
  • Plan and project manage appearances, photo shoots, video concepts, campaign ideas, optimizing content, analyzing performance metrics, and adapting strategies to maximize engagement and growth
  • Manage outbound sales and B2B relations with relevant brands for a set roster of clients.
  • Identify inbound opportunities across multiple clients.
  • Assist Talent in building and maintaining a consistent brand image, managing endorsements, and leveraging their influence to expand their reach and relevance within the fashion and beauty industries
  • Ensure accurate, well-maintained records to maintain ease of campaign fulfillment and visibility and transparency for the Talent

Talent Manager Requirements:

We're looking for candidates who are extremely organized, proactive, detail-oriented, have strong communication skills, and have the ability to manage multiple clients at once. The right candidate for this role is not looking for a standard 9-5 and is able to think outside of the box to come up with innovative pitches and solve problems creatively.

  • 2+ years of experience in negotiating and reviewing contracts
  • 2+ years of experience in adjacent industries such as PR, Media Buying, Social Media, Artist Management, Influencer Marketing, Talent Management etc.
  • 1+ years of experience as a talent manager
  • Demonstrates a proactive and self-starting personality, anticipating challenges and proactively identifying effective solutions
  • Team player who displays a positive, professional attitude and works well with others to ensure goals are achieved
  • Ability to help influencers with content ideation/direction
  • Willingness to be flexible and take on additional responsibilities and opportunities as they arise, understanding that the business is ever-changing
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms and influencer marketing
  • Expert communication, presentation and problem solving skills
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
  • Self-starter with strong drive to not only succeed personally but have the drive to grow and develop client businesses
  • Relationship driven with ability to work with a multitude of personalities and work styles
  • Adaptable to sudden changes in schedules and trends and an ever-changing industry
