What we are Looking For:

As a CEC Service Foreman, you will be supervising and coordinating all electrical activities for the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial/ commercial projects.

To be Successful in This Role you Must Have:

  • 5+ years of experience as an Electrical Foreman or similar role in industrial/manufacturing construction.
  • Exceptional technical & problem-solving skills to be able to identify electrical issues and proceed with prompt repairs.
  • Strong working knowledge of VFD & Soft Starters.
  • Experience with installing and setting up new VFD's, Soft Starters, and PLC Components.
  • Ability to troubleshoot MCC Buckets.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, codes, and standards. UL508.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proven experience managing electrical teams and subcontractors on large-scale construction projects.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings & control drawings.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools. Procore experience is preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR).
  • Ability to be on call as required.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Foreman Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage electrical crews, subcontractors, and other personnel to ensure project goals are achieved.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to guide installations and ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Monitor project progress, resolve any issues, and communicate updates to project managers and stakeholders.
  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with other trades and departments to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and materials to prevent delays and cost overruns.
  • Conduct site inspections to verify quality and adherence to project plans.
  • Provide training and mentorship to team members to continue to build a strong and knowledgeable workforce.
