Job Description

Immediately hiring a skilled and reliable HVAC Technician with at least 2 years of hands-on experience to join our growing service team. Pay range $25-$30/hr. based on experience. Position has growth opportunities. Schedule is Mon-Fri. 

HVAC Technician duties: 

• Perform service, repairs, and preventive maintenance on a wide range of commercial HVAC systems.
• Conduct diagnostic evaluations and system tune-ups with a focus on energy efficiency and system performance.
• Ensure systems are operating in compliance with CPS Energy rebate standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and company vehicle.
• Safely use hand and power tools to service HVAC equipment.
• Follow safety protocols and OSHA regulations at all job sites.
• Participate in regular training and updates on industry changes and rebate program updates.

Requirements: 

• 2+ years HVAC experience.
• Valid EPA Universal 608 certification – Required.
• Active TDLR HVAC license – Required.
• Proficiency in system tune-ups and preventive maintenance.
• Working knowledge of CPS rebate requirements or willingness to learn quickly.
• Must own and maintain basic hand and power tools.
• Excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work in various commercial environments, including rooftops.
• Experience submitting or processing utility rebate documentation in the manifold.
• Familiarity with building automation systems (BAS/BMS) is a plus.
• NATE certification is a plus.
