Job Description

R2R Strategic Recruiting is an internal recruiting partner for our client, Reser's Fine Foods.

Reser's Fine Foods is based in the Greater Portland, Oregon area, and is one of the country's largest family-owned and operated prepared foods businesses.

Position: Human Resources Training Specialist (Spanish/English bilingual)

Location: Full time, onsite in Salem, Oregon

Compensation: $28 - $29 hourly + benefits

Your Impact:

We’re looking for a passionate and people-focused Bilingual (Spanish/English) Human Resources Training Specialist to help new team members hit the ground running. In this key role, you'll guide new production employees through their first days, weeks, and months—making sure they feel supported, confident, and ready to succeed on the floor.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead onboarding and orientation for new hires in Spanish . Translate onboarding and training content from English to Spanish.
  • Deliver hands-on training focused on workplace expectations, productivity, and behavioral-focused coaching to support to new employees, including continuous improvement and emotional intelligence training, helping them adjust and thrive.
  • Partner with supervisors and cross-functional teams to improve onboarding and retention.
  • Provide retraining after procedural updates or safety incidents as needed.
  • Keep training records up to date and ensure compliance training is completed.
  • Serve as the go-to resource for new hires—answering questions, easing transitions, and creating a welcoming environment.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bilingual (Spanish/English fluency) with the ability to coach and train exclusively in Spanish. Ability to translate training content from English to Spanish.
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office is required.
  • High emotional intelligence and the ability to navigate diverse teams and situations.
  • Background in HR, adult education, or onboarding roles is a plus.
  • Food manufacturing, production, warehouse, maintenance, or related industry experience is a plus.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems is a plus.
