Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Specialist to join our team. As a Human Resources Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing various HR functions and ensuring the smooth operation of our HR department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about HR and enjoys working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Duties:

• Provide overall leadership and guidance to the HR department by overseeing talent acquisition, career development, retention, training, leadership development, compensation, and benefits.

• Act as a brand ambassador at a variety of external events in the local community.

• Coordinate our involvement in areas such as WABA, Charity Golf, Habitat for Humanity, Ronald McDonald House. etc.

• Recruit qualified applicants within our economic footprint.

• In person social events, resume screening, job boards, social media, LinkedIn, Indeed and other platforms.

• Assist with coordinating onboarding logistics to ensure new hires have a first-class experience.

• Make sure we hold up our end of the details laid out in the recruitment process.

• Build applicant pipelines by contacting and attending college campuses, career centers, career fairs, etc. Coordinate with appropriate managers to attend with you.

• Manage the summer intern program from onboarding, lodging, events, to future employment.

• Negotiate industry best benefits for all tiers of employees in the organization.

• Coordinated strategic employee programs and engagement activities, such as employee events, community partnership benefits, and other events. i.e., Night at the Sports Forum, Golf Tournament and Charity, Christmas, Zoo Day, Ranch Day and customer dinners, events or cook outs, etc.

• Focus on engagement programs that can be executed - celebrating employee work anniversaries, birthdays, holidays, and professional accomplishments.

• Implement and maintain the Company apparel program and promotional products.
