We are currently working with a well-established, family-owned food manufacturer and distributor that is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join their team. With a history spanning over four decades, this organization is committed to providing high-quality products to customers across both foodservice and retail sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for a variety of roles including hourly, salaried, and exempt positions
  • Partner with leadership on workforce planning, employee engagement, and succession planning
  • Manage compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations (OSHA, FLSA, FMLA, EEOC)
  • Oversee benefits administration including health, dental, vision, and 401(k) plans
  • Administer multi-state payroll for exempt and non-exempt employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Act as the primary point of contact for employee relations, fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture
  • Collaborate with EHS teams to maintain a safe work environment
  • Coordinate training and development programs across the organization

Requirements:

Appropriate Experience in Human Resources Management, preferably in a manufacturing environment

  • Solid experience with multi-state payroll processing
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR compliance requirements
  • Proficiency with ADP and HRIS systems
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively at all levels of an organization
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred
