Harvard Resource Solutions is seeking a Graphic Designer/ Artist for our client in Bloomfield Hills on a temporary basis.

Hours: 8:30am - 5:00pm

Assignment Length: 2- 4 weeks

Overview:

We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Graphic Artist with expertise in 2D and 3D image creation and compositing for apparel, accessories, and other merchandise. The ideal candidate will be skilled in bringing concepts to life through compelling visuals, with strong technical ability in Adobe Creative Suite and experience in producing artwork that aligns with brand identity and product requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop original 2D and 3D artwork for apparel, accessories, and merchandise.
• Specialize in compositing , ensuring seamless integration of multiple visual elements into cohesive final images.
• Collaborate with product development, marketing, and merchandising teams to create designs that align with seasonal trends and brand guidelines.
• Prepare production-ready files for printing and digital applications.
• Translate design briefs into innovative concepts and deliverables.
• Work with cross-functional teams to adapt designs across different product lines.
• Stay current with design trends, materials, and techniques relevant to apparel and merchandise.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in 2D and 3D design and compositing , preferably within the apparel or merchandise industry.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Dimension, and related applications) .
• Strong understanding of color theory, typography, and layout design.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with apparel design workflows, mockups, and print processes.
• Familiarity with additional 3D design software (e.g., Blender, Maya, or Cinema 4D).
• Knowledge of digital rendering and product visualization.
