Job Description

Provide visionary leadership and hands-on operational support to drive success in a dynamic, mid-sized warehouse with a broad range of responsibilities and complexities. Ensure seamless facility operations while strictly adhering to all regulatory requirements and company safety standards, policies, and procedures.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead, recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, delivering clear performance feedback to maximize productivity, efficiency, and overall effectiveness
  • Drive achievement of company performance targets, including critical KPIs such as Labor to Revenue (LTR), truck turn times, and exemplary customer service levels
  • Analyze warehouse operations and costs continuously to identify opportunities for process improvements and operational excellence
  • Partner with the Sales Manager to develop and execute strategic marketing and sales initiatives, including new account planning, prospecting, sales calls, rate development, contract negotiations, and closing deals
  • Champion exceptional customer service and cultivate strong client relationships to enhance facility reputation and customer satisfaction
  • Oversee budget management, capital expenditures, material handling equipment, and space utilization to consistently meet corporate financial goals
  • Lead and support initiatives ensuring optimal receipt, storage, handling, and distribution of food products, surpassing Lineage’s rigorous safety and food quality standards as well as employee health and safety requirements
