ROLE OVERVIEW
We seek a Full Stack Engineer to join our growing development team and contribute to building innovative social applications. Reporting to our Technical Delivery Manager, you'll work collaboratively on rapid prototyping and feature development with a focus on frontend implementation. This role offers the opportunity to work across the full product lifecycle in a lean, fast-paced environment where your contributions directly impact user experience and product evolution.
WHAT YOU’LL BUILD Frontend Development (Primary Focus)
● Implement sophisticated social network interface designs using React and modern frontend technologies
● Build responsive, interactive user experiences for web and mobile platforms
● Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to translate designs into production-quality code
● Develop reusable component libraries and maintain design system consistency Backend Development
● Design and implement identity services and user authentication systems
● Build content management systems and data architecture for social features
● Develop APIs and backend services using Golang and other modern technologies
● Integrate with databases and external services to support social platform functionality Full-Stack Collaboration
● Work across the entire technology stack from database to user interface
● Participate in rapid prototyping and iterative development cycles
● Contribute to technical architecture discussions and implementation decisions
● Support debugging and optimization across frontend and backend systems
REQUIREMENTS
Technical Skills
● 5-8 years full-stack development experience with demonstrated expertise in React
● Strong proficiency in Golang or similar backend languages (Go, Node.js, etc)
● Experience with modern frontend development practices, state management, and responsive design
● Understanding of database design, API development, and backend architecture patterns
● Familiarity with version control, testing frameworks, and collaborative development workflows Development Experience
● Track record of building and shipping user-facing applications from concept through production ● Experience with rapid prototyping, iterative development, and agile workflows
● Understanding of performance optimization for both frontend and backend systems
● Comfortable working with design systems and translating UI/UX designs into code
● Experience with SQLite or Postgres Collaborative Skills
● Strong communication skills and experience working in small, collaborative development teams ● Ability to work effectively in lean environments where developers wear multiple hats
● Experience participating in code reviews, technical discussions, and team problem-solving
● Comfort with ambiguity and ability to make independent technical decisions Growth Mindset
