Position: Formulation Technician I

Location: Sunnyvale, CA, 94085

Duration: 12 Months

Job Type: Temporary Assignment

Work Type: Onsite

Shift: Monday to Friday from 02:00 PM to 10:30 PM

Pay Rate: $20.00 to $25.00/hour

Summary:

Work as part of a team in a manufacturing laboratory responsible for synthesizing and testing ion exchange media used in chromatography consumables. Focus on producing high-quality products while maintaining a safe and organized lab environment.

Responsibilities:

• Test resin products using specialized instruments to meet customer demand.
• Record and report test results accurately, maintaining proper documentation.
• Complete production work-orders following established procedures.
• Adhere to corporate quality policies and safety requirements.
• Actively participate in safety improvement activities.
• Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.

Required Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing, operations, production, or a laboratory setting in either academic or industrial background.
• Knowledge of Good Laboratory and Manufacturing Practices (GLP/GMP).
• Strong mathematical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and follow written procedures (SOPs) and verbal instructions.
• Familiarity with hand tools (e.g., wrenches, torque drivers, tweezers).
• Basic PC literacy, including experience with spreadsheet and database software.
• Physical ability to lift/move up to 40 pounds and perform lab tasks involving standing, sitting, walking, and using hands/fingers.
• Visual acuity to detect small components and particles.
• Willingness to work in environments with chemical exposure, moving mechanical parts, moderate noise, and wearing required PPE.
