Job Description

TRC Talent Solution is currently seeking a Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join their growing team. This is a full-time permanent position with a manufacturer that is located in Savannah, GA. This role will be 100% onsite and will require someone to live in or within a commutable distance. This person will be responsible for coordinating, monitoring, and performing technical processes/procedures related to meeting department and company goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Report on status of assigned tasks at beginning, during and conclusion of shift.
  • Develop action plan to meet shop maintenance index. (Downtime, PM Plan & Actual, Equipment monitoring system, Equipment improvements, Safety/Environmental etc.)
  • Prepare detail training plan for each team member to meet skill level target of each section.
  • Prepare & execute annual operation plan and report status of each task.
  • Support Assistant Manager and Manager to encourage good teamwork. (Meeting, Events, Collaboration)
  • Analysis of shop downtime and provide improvement plan.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years experience within manufacturing maintenance department
  • Ability to monitor purchasing, distribution, and inventory control of all maintenance materials.
  • Must be able a team-player who is a strategic thinker and problem solver.
  • Must be flexible to work schedules based on department shift rotation plan which can include (Nights, Weekends, Holidays)
