Insight Global is hiring for several Engineering Technicians onsite with our client in Kansas City, MO. This is supporting a two-year long contract with extensions. This is a full time position Monday-Friday from 7:45AM-4:15PM.
Job Description:
· Assemble, disassemble, and service sorting machines, including constructing and repairing basic equipment or parts
· Perform repetitive tasks like cleaning, breaking down, and maintaining equipment using hand or power tools
· Interpret technical drawings to ensure accurate assembly and repair of screening tech
· Support the USPS consolidation (275 plants to 70 distribution systems) by prepping tech for 12 machines this year, 77 next year
Requirements:
· Experience assembling, disassembling, and servicing simple equipment or parts
· Ability to perform repetitive work) like cleaning, breaking down, and repairing simple instruments using hand or power tools
· Comfortable interpreting technical drawings or diagrams for assembly and repair tasks
· Ability to obtain USPS Public Trust clearance

· Familiarity with USPS systems
· Experience with package processing equipment or sorting machines
· Background working on printers or doing basic repairs
