JOB DESCRIPTION
Insight Global is seeking a permanent/direct hire Electrical Engineer, specializing in power distribution and automation systems, to support a large pharmaceutical client in the NYC metropolitan area. This employee will support a research and development campus and be responsible for administering the creation and monitoring of the site’s power distribution and automation strategies. This requires to be on site 5x a week, Monday-Friday/1st shift hours.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
-Bachelor's Degree 2+ years of electrical engineering experience in a regulated environment
-Experience with Honeywell and Siemens PLCs
-Experience with Building Management, Environmental monitoring software, and Human Machine Interfaces (BMS, EHS HMI)
-Knowledge of test equipment and diagnostic instruments for automation and power distribution systems
-Expertise in the design, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems specific to HVAC, purified water systems, chillers, boilers, steam, and facilities equipment

-Experience working in a pharmaceutical R&D environment
