About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Editor to join our SEO/GEO content program. The ideal candidate will bring strong editorial expertise in personal finance topics—particularly credit scoring systems, credit cards, and loans—and a proven ability to produce high-quality, consumer-first educational content. This role will be integral to ensuring accuracy, consistency, and excellence across our editorial publications.

You’ll collaborate closely with content strategists, subject matter experts, and quality specialists to edit, refine, and elevate our written materials while maintaining editorial standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce and edit personal finance content optimized for traditional and AI search, ensuring adherence to SEO best practices.
• Apply the client's editorial style and standards across all content formats.
• Maintain uncompromising accuracy and research integrity in all materials.
• Collaborate with internal teams—including content marketing and editorial stakeholders—across multiple time zones.
• Manage multiple editorial projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining editorial excellence.
• Ensure content complies with industry regulations and internal compliance guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in writing, editing, or publishing within personal finance.
• In-depth understanding of the U.S. credit scoring system , including credit bureaus, scoring models, and score factors.
• Proven ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear, engaging, and practical educational content.
• Experience creating content in regulated industries .
• Strong command of AP or equivalent editorial style and exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent project management, communication, and time management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage owned projects through completion.
• Familiarity with Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) best practices.
