Job Description

The Elder Statesman is looking for a Digital Senior Graphic Designer to join our team in Los Angeles. The ideal candidate is an experienced creative with a passion for fashion, design, and art. This position works autonomously to complete daily assignments that adhere to brand identity standards and meet all internal and external deadlines. They must have exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to multitask and stay on top of multiple projects. The Digital Art Director will be responsible for developing and executing the creative vision through marketing touchpoints such as the website, social media and other brand moments.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Execute the creative ideation process, contributing fresh ideas and creative solutions to deliver compelling messaging and graphic design concepts through all TES visual channels such as website, email marketing, ecommerce assets

• Manage and execute all daily graphic design needs such as emailers, web banners, invitations, etc

• Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm and create concepts that align with our brand's vision and values.

• Support the marketing team by ensuring deliverables are strategically aligned with objectives.

• Oversee visual direction and guidance of ecommerce photography during content capture, ensuring that all components and aesthetics align with brand visual guidelines.

• Oversee post-production processes, providing retouching notes and video editing feedback. Occasionally handle in-house retouching when necessary

• Support the continuous evolution of standards including e-commerce studio content, design system, brand voice, and other projects to drive the brand forward.

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and resources to meet deadlines and budget requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in graphic design within the Fashion industry.

• Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), motion software and Figma, Miro

• Familiarity with Keynote, Google Docs and Notion a plus

• Excellent communication skills, adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams and directors, and capable of independently managing projects.

• Keen eye for detail is essential.

• Strong aesthetic & creative thinking skills with the ability to balance adherence to brand standards with the introduction of new ideas.

• Positive disposition with collaborative work ethic.
