Job Description

The Design Specialist will play a key role in driving the successful rollout, adoption, and optimization of our client’s self-guided touring solutions across multi-family communities. This short-term contract position offers the potential to evolve into a full-time role as the company grows. The ideal candidate will have design experience in Figma (required) and Canva and will be comfortable navigating technology-driven environments, though no programming skills are needed. Working independently with light oversight, this individual will collaborate with innovative property management and technology teams to help revolutionize the leasing journey for thousands of prospective renters while gaining hands-on experience in a rapidly scaling property company.

Responsibilities

• Design interactive tours of multi-family properties using Figma and Canva, adhering to established templates while ensuring each tour visually aligns with client branding and design standards.
• Utilize proprietary company software to create, configure, and upload completed property tours to the platform, ensuring a smooth and seamless user experience.
• Verify data accuracy and completeness by carefully reviewing each step within the proprietary system to ensure all required elements are included and functioning properly.
• Perform follow-up quality assurance testing on completed tours to confirm that visuals, navigation, and embedded features work as intended across devices and environments.
• Address errors and implement client feedback promptly, refining designs and functionality to deliver polished, user-friendly tours that meet client expectations.

Ideal Experience

• 1–2 years of post-undergraduate experience, ideally within real estate technology, SaaS, or the multi-family housing industry.
• Proficiency in Figma (required) and working knowledge of Canva to support design and deployment projects.
• Eager to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic start-up environment with the flexibility to work occasional long hours or weekends.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
• Ability to adapt quickly to evolving priorities and contribute to continuous process improvement.
