Job Description

Are you a great communicator who enjoys helping people solve problems? Colorado Home Services (CHS) is looking for a friendly, detail-oriented, and tech-comfortable Entry-Level Customer Service and Sales Support Trainee to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for a student or recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in customer service and sales support during the summer , with the potential to transition into a part-time role during the school year and a permanent, full-time role after graduation.

What You’ll Do:

  • Answer inbound customer calls and provide high-quality support with professionalism and courtesy
  • Follow a troubleshooting script to assist customers and gather required information
  • Input customer information, service needs, and call notes into a webform and/or CRM system accurately
  • Support the Sales Team with various activities such as customer follow-up calls, emails and text messages
  • Act as the first line of support and communication for customers with questions, concerns, or scheduling needs
  • Escalate complex issues to the appropriate team member when needed
  • Deliver excellent customer service with patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong communication skills – confident speaking on the phone and able to clearly guide conversations
  • Customer-first mindset – respectful, empathetic, and eager to help people solve problems
  • Detail-oriented – accurate note-taking and data entry are essential
  • Tech-comfortable – able to navigate webforms, CRM systems, and internal tools with basic training
  • Dependable and punctual – able to commit to the schedule and take the role seriously
  • Quick learner – able to absorb information during training and apply it confidently
  • Must be able to work in-office for the first three weeks of training (Lakewood, CO) and willing to work on weekends as needed (with time off during weekdays)

Nice to Have (but Not Required):

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role (retail, hospitality, call center, etc.)
  • Interest in home services or related industries
  • Familiarity with CRM software or help desk systems
  • Scheduling experience
