Job Description

Spherion Staffing is accepting resumes for an expanding West Monroe UTILITY company offering NEW OPPORTUNITIES for CUSTOMER CONTACT REPRESENTATIVES... These are Temp-to-Hire positions!

Starting Pay $14/hour

*Once hired full-time with the client, pay increases to $17+ per hour with unprecedented benefits, including medical, dental, vision, 401K and more

Must be available to work Monday-Friday 7AM-7PM (Additional hours as needed depending on weather)

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Communicate and cooperate professionally with peers, supervision, external and internal customers
  • Maintain a safe and productive environment.
  • Read, understand, and comply with company policy and procedures
  • Prepare a record of all customer-requested activities on the account
  • Interface with other departments and employees to satisfy customers' needs and complaints while maintaining the department’s productivity goals
  • Regular and reliable attendance

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 1-2 years experience within a customer service environment
  • Customer service experience working with both internal and external customers as necessary
  • Good interpersonal skills along with strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of personal computer operations and related software (Microsoft Office)
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to work additional required overtime
  • Ability to learn and apply company policies and procedures
  • Ability to solve problems
  • Ability to perform independently of direct supervision
  • Ability to read and interpret procedures and make decisions accordingly
  • Self-motivated and dependable team player
  • Ability to meet the public in a pleasant and tactful manner and understand the importance of delivering a high level of customer service
  • Demonstrated acceptance of a diverse and inclusive work environment and customer base
  • Knowledgeable in MS Office and computer skills
