This role exists for one of maybe 20 people on the planet.

You've done it before: scaled a creator brand from 1M to 5M+ followers with taste, precision, and strategy. You built an asset, and not a viral moment. Brand integrity and business outcomes were the foundation.

Shelby Sapp is at that inflection point now. We run lean. You're the Creative Director… you bring the gameplan. Your systems. Your playbook.

Build a world-class, talent-scalable media engine from the ground up. One that produces at scale, attracts A-players, and turns Shelby's brand into an unstoppable force. Partner directly with Shelby and own it.

You will:

  • Own Shelby’s public-facing organic brand and day-to-day content system.
  • Build the team, standards, and pipeline that produce original short-form content at scale.
  • Coordinate with paid media and conversion-content partners to drive sales outcomes without diluting brand.

Responsibilities

  1. Own creative direction and brand blow-up. Set the vision, originate short-form concepts (no clipping), and protect taste and narrative across IG/TikTok/YT.
  2. Build the media team and install systems that scale. Recruit A-player shooters, editors, strategists. Create SOPs, workflows, briefs, and asset libraries so the machine runs without you in every piece.
  3. Direct talent and shoots end-to-end. Plan content roads, run set, get the takes, leave with publishable assets. No wasted shoots.
  4. Ship quality volume at scale. Drive 10–12+ publishable assets/day (multi-platform) while maintaining watch-time, saves, and shares.
  5. Own the metrics. Track views, engagement, growth, conversion. Analyze, iterate, and make data-driven decisions on what content moves the needle.
  6. Coordinate with paid and conversion teams. Partner so organic narratives feed promos and launches without turning the feed into an ad network.
  7. Lead trend creation, not reaction. Spot what's next, test formats rapidly, productize what works. Set the pace—make others copy us.
  8. Operate autonomously and solve problems. See gaps, fill them. Hit roadblocks, figure it out. Bring solutions, not problems.

Results (12-month targets)

  • Audience growth & quality: Achieve 30% q/q follower growth; maintain female audience composition at 75%+ (core demo).
  • Reach & performance: Increase median views on Shorts/IG/TikTok by 50% within first 2–3 quarters. Average reach per post up 40%.
  • Production throughput: Sustain 10–12+ assets/day across platforms with ≥95% on-time rate and ≤8% reshoot rate.
  • Content quality signals: Lift watch time, completion rate, saves, and shares by 35–50%. Create ≥8 repeatable "formats" with hit-rate >65%.
  • Founder leverage: Reduce Shelby's weekly content workload by 20 hours via batching, systems, and team support—without reducing output or quality.
  • Team & systems built: Hire and ramp 4–5 net-new content staff. Implement SOPs, content calendar, and weekly creative/ops review cadence.

Requirements

  • Built an individual creator’s brand from ~1M into multi-millions of followers/reach (show the receipts).
  • Short-form native across IG/TikTok/YT— original concepting history; not a “clipper.”
  • Team builder: hired and led a 1→10+ media org (editors, shooters, platform strategists) with clear standards and review cadences.
  • Batched production chops: you’ve installed pre-pro → shoot → post → publish workflows that sustain quality and volume.
  • On-set leadership: can direct talent, crews, and timelines; comfortable giving crisp, decisive feedback.
  • Data-literate: you read dashboards (watch time, completion, saves, shares) and adjust creative & ops accordingly.
  • High EQ with drivers: proven success partnering with strong, Type-A on-camera talent.
  • Speed + taste: a reel/portfolio proving repeatable viral mechanisms and consistent brand integrity.

Logistics: 

  • Location: Miami, Florida (Hybrid Schedule: 2-3 days in office)
  • Salary: $180,000–$240,000 + Bonus 
  • Employment Type: Contract (1099)
  • Travel: Periodic travel for batching weeks, stage appearances, interviews, and key shoots.
