Job Description

KLB Construction, LLC is a family-owned heavy highway contractor headquartered in Mukilteo, WA. We are seeking a full-time Contracts Administrator. This role requires excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

KLB’s Contracts Administrator responsibilities include:

RESPONSIBILITIES

PREQUALIFICATION

  • Respond to prequalification requests
  • Fill out and maintain prequalification’s

BUSINESS LICENSES

  • Apply and maintain all business licenses

CONTRACTS

  • Receive, process and gather all contract requirements for contract execution
  • Contract bonds, Insurance, SOI’s, Safety plans, Prevailing/ Private Wage documentation, Affidavits
  • Compliance Reporting with LNI, B2G, LCPTracker, Minority/ Apprenticeship/ Training hours, Internal KLB documentation tracking.

SUBCONTRACTS

  • Prepare, send out (via DocuSign) and process all RTS’s and subcontracts
  • Track required paperwork for all subcontractors
  • Track subcontractor payment- prepare payment lien waivers and send out

PROJECT CLOSE OUT

  • Responsible for all contracts, close out documentation for KLB and their subcontractors.

MISCELLANEOUS

  • Process and track Change Orders
  • Attend pre-construction meetings

SKILLS/ ABILITIES

  • Experienced in Microsoft office software- including WORD and EXCEL, DocuSign, LCPtracker

The Contracts Administrator position is based out of our main office located in Mukilteo, WA. Annual Salary range $75,000-100,000, depending on experience. Comprehensive benefits package with employer paid medical/ dental/ vision, paid vacation, paid holidays and 401k match. KLB is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
