Job Description

Consumer Education & Engagement Specialist

Position Summary

As the Consumer Education & Engagement Specialist, you are one of the faces of Good Feels in dispensaries and communities. This is a hybrid role where you’ll combine field activations, budtender training, consumer-facing programs, and data collection to make sure products move off the shelves and stay top of mind.

You’ll not only educate budtenders and consumers, but also help retail partners and allied brands understand what’s working in their specific markets — building tailored programs that drive sell-through, repeat purchases, and brand advocacy. This role requires a balance of education, field marketing, insights gathering, travel, and public presence.

Key Responsibilities

Education & Program Development

• Lead budtender training sessions on product knowledge, dosing, effects, and top-selling tactics to ensure sell through.

• Develop consumer-facing education programs that build trust, awareness, and brand loyalty based on consumer feedback and collected data.

• Act as a consultative partner to dispensaries and allied brands, helping them identify education strategies and promotional programs that work in their specific markets.

• Create resources, toolkits, and playbooks for budtenders and retailers that highlight best practices and successful sales tactics.

• Capture insights around consumer motivations, repeat intent, add-on behaviors, and product transitions, translating them into actionable recommendations.

Field Engagement & Brand Presence

• Lead engagement and act as one of the faces of Good Feels at dispensary pop-ups, vendor days, consumer events, and community activations.

• Travel extensively across Massachusetts to ensure consistent brand presence at retail locations and to offer a service they have not experienced with other brands.

• Oversee brand ambassador schedules, ensuring coverage and execution at activations while confirming branding consistency within the team.

• Manage compliant sample distribution, collateral, and swag in the field.

Data & Insights

• Collect and analyze consumer-facing data to identify buying patterns, repeat purchase rates, and add-on opportunities.

• Track leading stores and leading budtender sales tactics and highlight those driving the most conversions.

• Build detailed reporting using gathered data and AI (photos, notes, KPIs) for all events and education sessions.

• Share actionable insights with sales, marketing, and product teams to improve performance and growth.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in field marketing, cannabis education, retail sales, or related consumer-facing roles.

• Strong presentation, training, and public speaking skills — able to engage both small budtender teams and large consumer audiences.

• Highly organized and self-directed, capable of managing schedules, travel, and multiple concurrent programs.

• Willingness to travel extensively across Massachusetts (and occasionally out of state).

• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to transport event materials.

• Proficiency in Google Workspace and reporting tools.

• Comfort with AI tools (ChatGPT, Jasper, etc.) to create training materials, track insights, and streamline reporting.

• Passion for cannabis education, consumer empowerment, and brand storytelling.

• Must be 21 or over to apply

Job Details

• Full Time Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year

• Mileage Reimbursement for work-related travel

• 401k Offering

• Medical, Dental, Vision, & more

• Paid Time Off, Holidays, Sick

• Wellness Reimbursement

• $500 / year further education reimbursement

• Flexible Schedule: on the road, remote, and Tuesdays in-office (Medway)

• Weekends & Nights as needed for events (switch day)

What It Takes

This role carries significant responsibility. You’ll spend most of your time in the field, on the road, and face-to-face with budtenders, retail partners, and consumers. You’ll be the bridge between the company, the consumer, and the retailer — representing the brand with professionalism, passion, and insight. Your work will directly determine how well our products perform on shelves and how well we adapt to evolving consumer and market trends.
