Position: Civil Structural Engineer III
Pay Range: $116,010 - $161,125 based on experience

Location: Rockville, MD (DMV area) - onsite - RELOCATION ASSISTANCE AVAILABLE
Hours: 8:00am ET to 5:00pm ET, Monday -Friday
Work Site Expectations: 4 days in office
Travel Expectations: 10 %to 25% (as needed for project assignment, team rotation, one week every 6 to 8 weeks starting at the end of the year)

Job Description
Our client is seeking professionals to join the design team in the role of a Civil Structural Engineer. This role is responsible for the development of the plant site layout and civil/structural design for buildings and structures of an SMR Nuclear plant. The role will be responsible for the overall design of multiple civil/structural buildings and structures across the plant site and will work collaboratively with a multi-disciplined team of other engineers, suppliers, and project stakeholders to coordinate the successful design of the structural buildings and structures. This work is ultimately aligned to support key objectives in developing a design that has advantages in sustainability, economics, reliability, and safety relative to current day power generation units. This role interfaces with various teams, including project controls, engineering, licensing, supply chain, quality, safety, manufacturing, testing, operations, and/or construction functions.
