Overview:

Our banking client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Business Analyst/Data Analyst with specialized experience in bank deposits . This role is critical for managing, analyzing, and understanding deposit data across the bank, building a knowledge center that serves as the go-to resource for all deposit-related information. The ideal candidate will possess strong SQL skills, a substantial background in handling bank deposit data, and exemplary communication abilities to foster collaboration across business units.

Key Responsibilities:

• Knowledge Center Development: Establish and maintain a central knowledge hub for all deposit data, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for stakeholders across the bank.
• Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work closely with teams such as Treasury and Regulatory Reporting to address and resolve data queries and ensure alignment with business needs.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize SQL to analyze deposit behaviors and patterns, providing actionable insights to guide business decisions and strategies.
• Stakeholder Support: Offer direct support to business partners by providing necessary data insights for effective problem-solving, reducing the dependency on full-scale business intelligence solutions.

Required Qualifications:

• Deposits Experience: At least 5 years of hands-on experience with banking deposit data.
• SQL Proficiency: Strong ability to write SQL queries, perform joins, and conduct detailed data analysis.
• Collaboration Skills: Excellent communication skills with a proven track record of effective collaboration across diverse business teams.
• Technical Tools: Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with Netezza and Jira.
• Adaptability: Openness to transitioning to a full-time position as the project evolves.
• Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to derive insights from complex data sets.
• Proactive Communication: Ability to clearly articulate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
