Job Description

Position: Audi Technician

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair test vehicles to support fleet operations
  • Perform both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on prototype vehicles
  • Conduct software and hardware updates using specialized engineering tools
  • Install, remove, and maintain data logging and monitoring equipment
  • Maintain records and reports related to vehicle condition and testing procedures
  • Manage tool inventory and support parts logistics, including international shipments
  • Assist engineering teams and visiting test personnel with technical support
  • Prepare test vehicles for scrapping or reassignment as needed
  • Handle fluid sampling and documentation for engineering analysis
  • Maintain workshop cleanliness and adhere to all safety protocols

Key Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, with formal automotive technical training
  • Certificate in Automotive Technology
  • Minimum of two ASE certifications (one must be powertrain-related)
  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience as an automotive technician
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Proficiency in diagnostics and mechanical troubleshooting
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently
  • Solid verbal and written communication in English
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Experience with European automotive systems (VW, Audi, etc.)

Preferred Skills:

  • Prior experience in automotive engineering test environments
  • Familiarity with VAS diagnostic systems
  • Working knowledge of tools such as iDEX, Diagra, ODIS, and CP Tool
  • German and/or Spanish language skills are a plus
  • Highly self-organized with strong resource coordination abilities
