Ahmad & Associates is hiring an Associate Attorney. Join our dynamic and growing Immigration Law Practice. As one of the top-rated immigration law firms in the mid-Atlantic area, we are seeking a dedicated attorney to assist our clients through their immigration journeys. This position will focus on conducting client intake interviews, representing clients in virtual immigration court hearings, and drafting legal briefs. The ideal candidate will be highly organized and able to handle a large caseload.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct client intake interviews to gather essential information and assess case eligibility.
• Represent clients during virtual immigration court hearings, offering knowledgeable and compassionate advocacy.
• Write detailed legal briefs and other documents to support clients' cases effectively.
• Collaborate with an experienced team of attorneys and legal staff to achieve the best outcomes for our clients.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active Bar membership in at least one state.
• Experience in immigration law is preferred, though recent graduates with a strong interest and law school experience in immigration law are encouraged to apply.
• Strong communication, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced work environment.

We pride ourself with being client-oriented, professional and highly efficient in meeting our clients' needs. Our associates are given their own case load with daily attorney supervision. They are expected to function in a high-energy fast-paced work environment.

Pay: $87,000 - $95,000 per year
