Opportunity to join a growing real estate development and investment firm with a 30-year successful track record in direct real estate investments and value creation.

Principal Objective of Position:

Regent Property Management Services is seeking a highly motivated, hard-working, Assistant Property Manager to join our growing team in Phoenix, AZ. The Assistant Property Manager will be part of a management team supporting our commercial properties totaling approximately 550K sq ft, responding to tenant requests, facilitating vendor walks, drafting variance reports, and assisting in various ad hoc assignments under the direction of the Property Manager for that assigned property/portfolio. In addition to these functions, the selected candidate will be expected to deliver a tenant experience in keeping with company standards (a privately held real estate company/Investment Fund/Property Management Company).

Job Responsibilities:

  • Addressing and resolving tenant requests, questions, or concerns in a timely manner.
  • Negotiate and review vendor agreements with a focus on cost containment, competitive bidding, and building specific scope alignment.
  • Assist with building walks and coordinate with vendors on corrective needs to ensure the building is maintained in keeping with best in class standards.
  • Responsible for managing budget, maintaining accounts, collecting rent, managing A/R, in addition to creating and tracking tenant files and records.
  • Responsible for producing monthly reports and deliverables in addition to assisting in the budgeting process.
  • Accountable for insurance certificate compliance by both vendor and tenants.
  • Assist with CAM estimates and reconciliations.
  • Assist with other projects as assigned by Supervisor to meet business needs.

Desired Skills and Responsibilities:

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university required (or equivalent experience).
  • A minimum of three years' experience as an Assistant Property Manager.
  • Knowledge of MRI, Yardi, JD Edwards, or comparable ERP experience required.
  • Highly Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, Yardi, MRI, Timberland, Building Engines, and other commercial real estate software programs.
  • Professional with exceptional problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Candidate must be detail oriented, able to multi-task, and comfortable working in a fast paced environment.
  • Arizona State Real Estate License preferred
