Job Title: Application Packaging Lead
Location: Minnetonka, MN
Key Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end application packaging lifecycle using Flexera AdminStudio, App Deployment Toolkit
(PSADT), and related tools.
• Customize, build, validate, and optimize MSI/MST packages to meet security, compliance, and business
requirements.
• Troubleshoot packaging, integration, and deployment issues across staging, UAT, and production
environments.
• Integrate packaged applications with enterprise deployment systems (Intune, SCCM/MECM, JAMF, etc.).
• Develop automation solutions using PowerShell, Ansible, and Jenkins to significantly streamline packaging
and deployment workflows.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives aligned with KPIs, SLAs, and operational best practices.
• Oversee and support Citrix infrastructure, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), and Virtual Delivery Agents
(VDA).
• Manage hybrid cloud environments across Azure, on-premises servers, Azure AD, Intune/MDM auto-
enrollment, and enterprise endpoint platforms.
• Conduct comprehensive QA across Windows 10/11, server OS versions, and virtualized environments.
• Perform application compatibility assessments and implement remediation strategies for legacy, modern,
and complex applications.
• Maintain complete documentation of packaging processes, troubleshooting steps, standards, and best
practices.
• Act as a subject matter expert in application virtualization, packaging methodologies, and enterprise
deployment frameworks.
Required Skills & Expertise
• Strong experience with endpoint management solutions: Microsoft Intune, SCCM/MECM, JAMF, Azure
AD.
• Deep knowledge of Windows desktop/server OS, storage, networking (DNS, DHCP), Active Directory, and
O365.
• Expert-level proficiency in PowerShell, VBScript, SQL, WQL, and WMI.
• Hands-on automation experience using Ansible, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of cloud deployment methodologies (Azure / AWS).
• Extensive experience in MSI packaging, custom scripting, MST transformations, App-V/virtualization, and
deployment configuration.
• Knowledge of software lifecycle management, software asset management (SAM), and licensing
compliance.
• Strong understanding of ITIL processes, including incident, problem, and change management.
• Proven experience coordinating with software vendors to validate requirements and ensure compatibility.
• Lead packaging automation initiatives across large distributed teams.
• Work cross-functionally with engineering, security, infrastructure, and business/application owners.
