JOB SUMMARY
To complete various title and project planning tasks in an efficient manner and to furnish a correct final deliverable to the Client.
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED
• Knowledgeable in surface title requisites in Texas.
• Sufficient knowledge to quickly access online records and review documents to complete a chain of titles.
• Ability to work autonomously, remotely, and to collaborate fully as a team player.
• Ability to pay close attention to details and present good planning, organization, and time management skills.
• Willingness to assume additional responsibilities readily.
• Ability to drive work from assignment through completion with minimal supervision or assistance.
• Ability to maintain regular attendance as per work schedule agreed with manager.
• Ability to comply with applicable laws and regulations and Company policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Research surface title using online resources and produce Limited Title Certificates (LTC) for Client use.
• Prepare flowcharts, plats, deed plots, and other visual aids.
• Draft damage releases, letters of no objection, temporary right of entry agreements, and other documents using Client provided templates.
• Support circuit route rebuilds and line upgrades by researching existing land rights, gaps in title, conflicts with other utilities, required permits and then presenting those findings back to electric engineers.
• Communicate with field agents regarding research needed to cover gaps, Probates, District Clerk, etc. and examine documents that are provided from the field.
• Review engineering plans/schematics.
• Enter data to generate reports using provided time-keeping/cost-billing program.
• Follow specific instructions regarding ArcGIS, Google Earth, FileNet, MapInfo, TitleData, Courthousedirect.com, County Appraisal District GIS programs and other software.
• Ensure that digital files and folders are stored in the correct location and adequately labelled for future reference.
• Prepare final deliverable to be sent to the Client.
