Job Description:

BookedBy is looking for a Mid-Level UX Designer to join our talented design team. In this role, you will collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to create seamless, user-centered experiences for our products. Your insights and creativity will play a crucial role in shaping the usability and functionality of our applications. You will talk to customers, explore solutions, and take ideas from conception into reality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct user interviews, surveys, and usability testing to gather insights that inform design decisions and product development.
  • Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and user flows to visualize design concepts and user journeys.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management and engineering, to align on project goals and ensure cohesive implementation.
  • Develop intuitive, visually appealing interfaces that enhance user interaction and adhere to branding guidelines.
  • Iterate on designs based on user feedback and usability testing, ensuring continuous improvement of user experiences.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive design documentation, including design specifications, user personas, and journey maps.
  • Keep up with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to bring fresh ideas to the design process.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in UX design, preferably within a fast-paced software or tech environment.
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD, with a strong emphasis on Figma.
  • Experience creating, maintaining, and scaling design systems in Figma, ensuring consistency across products.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design thinking, problem-solving skills, and measurable impact.
  • Understanding of the product development lifecycle, including how design informs engineering and vice versa.
  • Hands-on experience conducting user research and usability testing, and the ability to apply insights to design decisions.
  • Ability to work autonomously and make decisions in ambiguity, proactively identifying problems and proposing solutions.
  • Strong communication, storytelling, and collaboration skills, with the ability to advocate for design in a cross-functional environment.
  • Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously, managing shifting priorities without sacrificing quality.
  • Comfortable working in a high-growth, evolving environment, with a flexible and adaptable mindset.
  • Experience leveraging AI to enhance your workflow is a plus!
