Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Student Services Coordinator to support students and program activities. This role serves as a key liaison, providing both on-site and remote assistance to students, ensuring they have the necessary resources to succeed. Key Responsibilities
Assist in student recruitment and orientation activities.
Prepare and administer CASAS appraisals, pre-tests, and post-tests in a timely manner.
Maintain communication with administrative offices and ensure all required paperwork is submitted by deadlines.
Provide exceptional customer service by assisting students and answering inquiries via phone and in person.
Support students with basic technical issues.
Promote and represent educational programs in the target community.
Serve as a resource to the community by sharing program updates and opportunities.
Monitor student recruitment, retention, and attendance, reporting data as needed.
Organize and maintain both physical and electronic student records.
Build and maintain relationships with external community organizations.
Manage the purchase and distribution of materials and supplies.
Oversee student enrollment and registration processes.
Work collaboratively with site staff to maintain a clean and organized environment.
Ensure compliance with health department regulations for the National School Lunch Program (NSLP).
Partner with instructors and teachers to enhance the student experience.
Perform clerical and office support tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
Track and document the distribution of technological devices to students.
Submit student enrollments, transcripts, and other requests to the appropriate departments on time.
Qualifications & Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced and sometimes high-pressure environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Education & Experience
High school diploma or GED required.
Associate degree or some college coursework preferred.
At least two (2) years of relevant experience preferred.
Travel Requirements
Must have a valid driver's license and personal automobile insurance.
Ability to travel up to 40% as needed.
Language Requirement
Bilingual in Spanish required.
Physical & Work Environment
Must be able to sit for extended periods and work at a computer.
Occasionally required to lift and move up to 40 pounds.
Some exposure to outdoor conditions and potential electrical hazards.
