Position Overview: Sr. Business Development- IT Services

We are seeking seasoned Business Development Managers with experience as listed below to spearhead our customer footprint across the USA.

Bay Area, IT Services: Sr. Business Development Manager with 10 to 12 years’ experience in selling IT services

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in IT Services (Cloud, ERP, Data Analytics etc.) in the Hi-Tech, Telecom, and Manufacturing domains
  • Develop and execute growth strategies tailored to the US market.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, technology partners, and ecosystem players.

Sales and Revenue Growth:

  • Achieve sales targets and revenue growth.
  • Lead the end-to-end sales cycle, from prospecting to closure, including proposal development and contract negotiations.
  • Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities across VVDN’s services and product offerings.

Market Intelligence and Strategy:

  • Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and market demands to provide actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to refine solutions and offerings based on client needs and market feedback.

Collaboration with Internal Teams:

  • Partner with engineering, product management, and marketing teams to align on client requirements and deliverables.
  • Act as the voice of the customer to drive innovations and improvements in VVDN’s solutions.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts in the Bay Area region.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree (MBA) is preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in business development/sales in IT Services
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth in the technology sector.
  • Deep understanding of software technologies, including trends, and market dynamics.
  • Strong network of customer relationships
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on results.
  • Willingness to travel within the USA as required.
