Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent guest service skills and a passion for the culinary arts, ensuring that every dining experience is memorable. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and sanitation.

Duties

• Greet and seat guests promptly, providing them with menus and information about daily specials.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all guest requests are met.
• Deliver food and drinks to tables in a timely manner while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including sanitizing tables and utensils as needed.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders and adherence to quality standards.
• Process payments accurately and efficiently, utilizing basic math skills for cash handling.
• Assist in training new staff members on restaurant policies, menu items, and guest service techniques.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or fine dining is preferred but not required.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
• Excellent guest service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately.
• Knowledge of culinary practices and menu items is a plus.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift items as necessary to maintain restaurant operations.
