Job Title: CAD Designer
Location: Indian Harbour Beach, Florida
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Designer to join our engineering firm. Infrastructure Engineering Group, LLC (IEG) provides engineering to local governments on infrastructure projects, including treatment plants, pump stations, water & wastewater pipelines, stormwater, and civil projects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and modifying utility design drawings ensuring accurate, high-quality deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
· Create detailed utility design drawings, including plans, profiles, sections, and details using AutoCAD Civil 3D, leveraging its tools and features to enhance productivity and accuracy.
· Develop and modify drawings for utility infrastructure projects such as water, sewer, and stormwater.
· Incorporate survey data, GIS information, and other inputs into CAD drawings.
· Work closely with engineers, project managers, and other team members to understand project requirements and objectives.
· Review and check drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to design standards and specifications.
· Maintain organized records of design files, revisions, and project documentation.
Qualifications:
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in CAD design, with significant experience in utility work.
· Associate degree in Computer-Aided Design, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related field
· Any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
· Familiarity with local and state utility design regulations and standards preferred.
Work can be performed remotely, hybrid, or in office depending on the candidates qualifications and work experience.
