Job Description

We are on the lookout for a seasoned and passionate Executive Housekeeper to take command of the housekeeping operations at the residence of an esteemed ultra-high-net-worth individual (UHNWI). This vital role requires a dynamic, detail-focused professional who is committed to upholding supreme standards of cleanliness, order, and opulent living. As the Executive Housekeeper, you will be instrumental in fostering a serene, meticulously organized, and sophisticated atmosphere that mirrors the distinguished lifestyle of the home’s inhabitants. The role is balanced between 70% managerial responsibilities and 30% hands-on cleaning tasks .

Key Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead the housekeeping team, providing leadership and inspiration to drive exceptional performance in all facets of their roles, ensuring uniformity and superior quality of service.
  • Craft and execute a bespoke housekeeping strategy, encompassing regular cleaning routines, comprehensive deep-cleaning cycles, and unique initiatives, customized to the residence’s specific demands and the homeowner’s tastes.
  • Perform systematic inspections to affirm that every area of the property consistently meets or exceeds the pre-set cleanliness and tidiness benchmarks.
  • Liaise with third-party service providers, including laundry, specialized cleaning, and maintenance crews, to maintain the residence’s flawless condition.
  • Administer the procurement and stock management of all cleaning materials, tools, and household commodities, maintaining adequate inventory levels while adhering to fiscal constraints.
  • Supervise the preservation and care of luxury furnishings and artifacts, ensuring they receive expert attention and handling.
  • Establish and uphold housekeeping standard operating procedures, aligning with safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Manage administrative duties linked to housekeeping functions.
  • Serve as the principal liaison for the homeowners concerning housekeeping and upkeep matters, offering consistent updates and promptly resolving any issues.
  • Oversee the maintenance of multiple properties.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated expertise in a comparable executive housekeeping capacity, must have experience within private UHNWI dwellings.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in the field.
  • Proficiency in English communication.
  • Robust leadership capabilities with a history of steering and energizing a team towards outstanding achievements.
  • Comprehensive understanding of cleaning practices, substances, and apparatus, especially pertaining to upscale finishes and sensitive materials.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously, with a sharp focus on details and a dedication to maintaining peak standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal aptitudes, with the capacity to forge solid connections with team members, external partners, and property owners.
  • A high degree of discretion, ethical conduct, and the competence to manage sensitive information with maximum discretion.
  • The flexibility to adjust to the evolving requirements and timetables of the household, including the willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends when necessary.
