Position: Director of Marketing, Product & Biz Development 

Reports to:  CEO

Responsibilities:  

Marketing & Brand Strategy: 

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy to increase brand awareness, customer engagement, and lead generation. 
  • Oversee digital marketing, content strategy, SEO, PPC, and social media initiatives. 
  • Represent the company in a highly professional manner to service the overall strategy and needs of eMerchant. 
  • Manage the research, identification and execution of offering new payment related products and value-added solutions to generate leads, support the sales team, and support customer implementations 
  • Be a catalyst in driving new services, as-well-as, provide experience and expertise in offering and supporting products and services, and organizing and implementing all marketing channels. 

Business Development & Partnerships:  

  • Assist in managing trade show strategy and planning for exhibiting and attendance at trade shows and conferences to generate a return on investment. 
  • Assist in building, training and managing the eMerchant affiliates and partners. 
  • Work under the direction of the CEO of eMerchant to generate promotional activities, create new sales leads for eMerchant’s target market and contribute to the sales of the company. 
  • Contribute to achieving the sales goals for eMerchant, including monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals. 
  • Work with the CEO, Marketing Coordinator and Account Management Department to increase the value proposition to upsell and cross-sell existing customers and increase revenue. 
  • Create and maintain the eMerchant New Product Development Plan for both new and existing products and services. 
  • Assist in maintaining the CRM as the central sales and marketing database. 
  • Maintain flexibility as job descriptions may change over time. 
  • This position provides a salary, bonus and paid health insurance. 

 

  Requirements:  

  • Minimum five years of Marketing experience
  • Experience in B2B marketing, demand generation, and digital marketing strategies. 
  • Knowledge of all marketing channels including online, web analytics, and strategy. 
  • Travel locally and occasionally nationwide to trade shows. 
  • Self-starter who is able to work independently and as a team player with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 
  • Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint; organized, detailed person.
  • Able to learn and Experience utilizing a CRM solution such as Salesforce. 
  • Willing to learn and take direction with strong administrative skills. 
  • College degree preferred. 
  • Background check
