Data Center HVAC Technician

This global market-leading manufacturer is looking for experienced service engineers/technicians who can grow the company's service and applications to customers. We are looking for a candidate from an HVAC cooling or refrigeration background for this opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform repair and maintenance on refrigeration and air conditioning equipment to a high standard
• Assemble units delivered in a modular format, requiring mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration knowledge
• Work closely with customers, maintaining a professional image and ensuring satisfaction
• Submit paperwork, site reports, expenses, and timesheets promptly
• Report daily activity to the Service Team Leader to ensure availability and productivity
• Collaborate with Service Support Engineers to ensure timely completion of works
• Follow health and safety policies both on-site and at customer locations
• Maintain excellent attendance and work outside normal office hours, including weekends, as needed

Required Education & Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree in HVAC or related field preferred (or substantial relevant experience)
• EPA Type II Certification required (Universal EPA preferred)
• Applicable HVAC licence preferred
• Experience in service, maintenance, and repair of chillers and chiller systems
• Ability to diagnose, service, and repair Close Controls systems
• Experience in data centre/business-critical environments
• Strong electrical experience, with ability to read detailed electrical schematics
• Proficient in A/C refrigeration, understanding superheats, sub-cooling, pressures, and temperatures
• Familiarity with Carel controls navigation
